Miondo also known as “cassava stick” is a traditional Douala delicacy that is very popular in Cameroon. Like fufu, it is a product derived from cassava. The miondo accompanies many dishes, but particularly finds its place with the ndolé and roasted fish.
This Cameroonian dish is also consumed within the other African countries. The miondo accompanies many sauces and It is peeled and ideally eaten with the fingers. It can be kept for several days in the open air and several months/years in the freezer.
